Throw a Ba Ba Baby Shower!

Is one of your dear friends expecting a ba ba baby? Throw the mom-to-be and her little lamb a dreamy lamb-themed baby shower full of soft and warm touches. Decor:

Food:

• Mix up some frothy white punch to drink! To make this, heat and mix one cup water and two cups sugar in a saucepan until the sugar is dissolved. Add 12 ounces of evaporated milk and one tablespoon almond extract and allow the mixture to cool and chill. When it’s party time, combine the mixture with a two liter of lemon-lime soda and a half gallon of vanilla ice cream scoops. Yum!
• Serve all of the food with cute lamb-patterned plates, napkins, and cups.

Entertainment:

•  As guests arrive, give each one a Ba Ba Baby Shower Bingo board. Instruct the guests to write in each square a gift that they believe the mom-to-be will receive. As she opens her gifts, guests should put bingo pieces on the items that they correctly guessed. When they get five in a row they should shout, “ba ba bingo!” Keep playing until all the gifts are open. Maybe someone will fill up their entire playing board!
• Instead of Name that Tune, play Name that Lullaby. Create a playlist of classic — and more difficult — lullabys. Have guests write down their guesses and whoever has the most correct wins.
• For another game, give each guest a sheet of nursery rhyme lines, but with words or phrases missing. Have the guests fill in the blanks and whoever has the most correct wins.
• Send the game winners home with soft wool socks, a mix of dinner mints and Jordan almonds, and pretty wool scarves!
